I have been volunteering with my children at the Boise Rescue Mission and they decided to do a fund-raiser for them. I had no idea, they surprised me when I got home from work, they had a stand with a jar for coins and a box for dollar bills. I am such a proud mother of these little girls. They had thought of the homeless community instead of running and playing with their friends. THAT is pretty impressive for any age of person, let alone a 6 year old and 9 year old little girl. I am amazed and truly blessed with some of the most amazing children! The girls have set a goal for themselves to raise $80 and then we will go in and do a personal donation for the Boise Rescue Mission. Such giving little ones! Their friends came over to play and my girls asked them to join. They taught the neighborhood friends some valuable lessons that day too it looks like :)
