On August 28, I had the opportunity to be present for the Bob-B-Q with Bob FM (96.1) at the Western Idaho Fair. They had their 2nd annual contest that included who could bbq the best poultry, fish, red meat and ice cream. The contestants were so incredibly kind and gracious to have me test many of the foods they cooked up! They were all wonderful, I don't know how the judges (local restaurant owners were judges) could pick just one in each category and then an overall. During the event, there was a traveling Marine Corp band playing and they were phenomenal! I am so proud to live where I do and I got to say thank you to all the Marines that played as well as serve them ice cream :-)
